When and how do I pay?
Pay the advance shown at checkout to start driver matching. It is part of the total price. Your saved order records the amount and payment terms. After assignment and declaration signing, pay the balance through the offered checkout before pickup.

CARVA activates the driver after the signed declaration and confirmed required payment are recorded. Payment status comes from the provider, not a screenshot.
Do not pay the driver at handover. If the proposed pickup date does not work for you, contact CARVA before pickup and check the deposit and refund terms.
