Data Deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject "CARVA data deletion request".

Include the email address you used to sign in and, if relevant, booking/request references.

We may ask you to confirm ownership of the email address before deleting data.

For an undisputed completed or cancelled delivery, CARVA automatically redacts direct operational identifiers after 30 days, including customer name and email, VIN, owner identification number, street address, postcode, phone number, checkout URL, private notes, and the separate signature image. This does not remove the signed declaration PDF or records required for accounting, tax, disputes, or legal claims.

Account profile data, unused sessions, contact details, and data that is no longer required for active delivery operations may be deleted or anonymized.

Email sign-in and account profile data can be removed from CARVA systems when no longer needed.

Some records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims, safety, signed declarations, dispute handling, or regulatory compliance.

When full deletion is not possible, we will limit use of retained data and may anonymize it where practical.

Signing out ends the active CARVA session. Future access requires a new one-time code sent to your email address.

Signing out does not automatically delete existing booking or declaration records. Use the deletion request process if you want eligible data removed.

We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If a lawful extension is needed, we explain the reason and extended deadline within that first month.

If a request is complex or legally restricted, we will explain what can be deleted and what must be retained.
