How do I arrange insurance for my car during delivery?
CARVA requires the driver or carrier performing the delivery to hold carrier liability insurance (CMR) valid for that transport. CMR insurance covers the carrier’s liability for loss of or damage to the transported car under the policy terms. It is not all-risks insurance for your car: liability limits, policy limits and exclusions apply, so the full vehicle value may not be reimbursed. Ask in your order conversation about the policy and cover for your delivery. Additional insurance for your car is not included in the delivery price. Arrange it separately with a broker. You can contact GrECo, Aon Baltic or Marsh Lietuva through the footer, or ask CARVA to help coordinate a quote in your order. A broker link, request or quote does not confirm cover.

Open ‘Manage insurance’ in your order, choose a broker, enter the vehicle value and send your request to CARVA. If a broker quote is available, download the quote and terms. Check the insurer, insured vehicle, route, dates, premium, deductible and exclusions. Asking CARVA to continue with a quote does not purchase insurance; agree payment and issuance separately with the broker.
Before pickup, confirm the issued policy and when cover starts with the broker. When recorded in your order, you can download the policy and find the claims contact there. If the vehicle, route, dates or carrier changes, request a review through the insurance page or order chat. Cancelling delivery does not automatically cancel the policy or refund the premium; the broker must confirm these separately.
